Norma Jeane Baker, born in June 1 of 1926 in Los Angeles. But wait, who was Norma Jeane Baker? Have you ever heard of her? And, when I say, Marilyn Monroe, rings a bell? Of course, it does. Marilyn Monroe was a very famous personality during the middle of the 20th century. She had a successful career as an actress and model which earned her fame and also made herself one of men's most desired women in the world. Often considered as a sexual icon, Norma, though having tons of money and living a placid life, struggled with mental illness because of a mental disorder she had been dealing with. Those disorders led her to depression and anxiety, things which worsened her condition drastically. However, what caused all those problems? One of the most discussed reasons to find and explanation to her condition was that she got a lot of pressure because of acceptance. She wanted to be seen as Norma, the intelligent and gifted woman and not like Marilyn Monroe, the sexual icon and silly actress of the movies in which she performed.

The mental illness Norma suffered was called borderline personality disorder, this problem made her generally unstable in every field, making her have no control over her own emotions, as a consequence that made Norma’s whole situation a chaos, all his relationships were affected harshly because of that.

There was a famous photographic section called "The Last Sitting"; with over 1000 photos of her, it was the last time Marilyn had a photographic section, 3 weeks before passing away. After dealing with all those problems it is reported that she took her own life from a barbiturate overdose on August 5 of 1965 in Brentwood Heights, Los Angeles.
