Let's leave NWA behind. Even though, NWA is the band in which MC Ren got fame, I'm here to statify how underrated this rapper is, because after listening to some of his songs, I was shocked. When we talk about NWA, three names always come in: Eazy-E, Dr.Dre and Ice Cube but, where are MC Ren or DJ Yella? Yes, they didn't have that highlighted career everyone has thought of, but, have you at least had a look to their work?
For example, DJ Yella made some good beat with BG Knocc Out called "Dat's How I'm Living" some dope shit they would say, now, it's time for Ren. Apart from his record "Ruthless For Life" which is his most famous on YouTube, he made "Shock Of The Hour" during 1993 with Ruthless Records.
With songs like "Mayday On The Frontline" or the most dope thing "Same Ol $hit", Ren highlighted for himself and for Gangsta community in general, placing his album in 22 on Billboard 200 chart, Ren made his own name.
